About Our Desserts

The Purple Feather has a breathtaking selection of desserts and confections: Cakes dripping with chocolate ganache, fruit tarts, outrageous cream puffs and smooth New York Cheesecakes which linger on the taste buds. If you're craving something simpler, we always have the classics: chocolate chunk brownies, Biscotti made from scratch, and fresh baked cookies, including the old favorite, chocolate chip.

At the Purple Feather you can also find the most delicious cheese cakes, usually more than one flavor to choose from. But, our most popular is our "Enticing Eclair." Our homemade eclair shell is filled with our fresh panna cotta (sweet cream filling), and topped with chocolate ganache made with Belgian chocolate. But don't dismiss our other beautiful treats! All of our desserts are made on the premises for ultimate freshness.

The only way to improve this experience is to top it off with one our delicious wines, cordials or coffee drinks.

The secret to this cake is the perfect blend of carrots, walnuts & pineapple. Finished with Cream Cheese Frosting.


Salted Caramel Cake

A fresh chocolate cake is filled with our homemade salted caramel Mousse and then frosted with the same. One of our most desired cakes.

Bismarck

Purple Feather style, this European donut has a thin layer of raspberry preserves filled with an ocean of whipped cream frosting.

Panna Cotta

An authentic Italian Dessert made by simmering sweet cream, milk & sugar together. Served in our Belgian Chocolate Cup.

Mousse Cup

Chocolate or Salted Caramel
Made from fresh cream whipped to a smooth and delightful consistency. Served in our Belgian Cocolate Cup.

Fruit Tarts

Peach, Cherry, Pear or Mixed Berry
Made with an all-butter sugar dough crust, sweet frangipane (almond) filling, brushed with an apricot glaze. Served warm or cold.
